If you are interested in the knowledge of broader horizons such as diplomacy, international relations, geopolitics, international law and any equivalents, CILD is the one for you. We strive to expand the student's horizon not only within the country itself, but also what is happening around us. If you think you are that person, CILD will provide you the most fulfilling experience in your university life.
Yes, we do organize events! As of now, we have two academic programmes available for you. Firstly, the Tier Training Programme. TTP is a three-tiered academic programme that focuses on developing CILD member’s technical understanding on MUN, substantive understanding on the art of Foreign Policy, and developing future trainers to contribute back to newly recruited members; such program design is to develop our members comprehensively ranging from their competitiveness to their thinking horizons.
Our second programme would be the Thinker of The Week (TOW), an interactive project that sets a bi-monthly academic theme followed by biweekly questions for our members to craft their opinions on. We may even have speakers to join us on the academic themes and express their opinions on the matter.
In terms of our conference arm, we provide two major events: The CILD Annual Conference and Malaysian Foreign Policy Competition. The former is happening on July 23 - 1 August 2021 while the latter is still in the consultation stage.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has plagued many of our physical activities, it is highly suggested to process your payment via online banking transfer as this will minimise our risk of contracting the virus. However, should there be any extreme circumstances deemed by the CILD Team to be imperative, a liaison would be appointed to collect your cash. Please notify us about your issue and we will attend to you ASAP.
Discord is a group-messaging app, similar to other apps such as Skype and Slack. It was initially geared for gamers to communicate on their gameplay, but it has since then opened up for other communities like us! It supports text, voice and video calls (just like Whatsapp!). But the reason why we made Discord our main engagement platform for CILD is that our activities can be organised into topic-based channels where you can collaborate, share, and just talk about your day without clogging up a group chat! If you are a member of CILD, please create an account to stay tuned to our member-exclusive activities ahead!
